UTEC has full AV capacity in all of our rental spaces. This includes projectors, microphones, surround sound, and wall-mounted monitors. In the Main Hall, there is a 20 plus foot drop-down screen - perfect for a photo slideshow during your reception! We also have a multi-channel soundboard and theater lighting, as well as staff to run all of the above equipment. While additional fees apply for AV, sound, and lighting equipment rental and staffing in the Main Hall, this eliminates the need for shopping elsewhere for equipment rental, and our rates are competitive with others... without delivery fees!
From a green space in front of the historic church building to a multi-story atrium adjacent to the cafe, UTEC is filled with perfect spots for your photos. Have your bridal portraits taken in front of the original stained glass windows, commemorate your grand entrance with photos of your wedding party descending the mezzanine stairs, and take advantage of beautiful natural light throughout the building.
The Main Function Hall is perfect for weddings and receptions of up to 300 people. Looking for a smaller space? Our cafe and indoor courtyard combined make an ideal setting for an intimate ceremony and reception or post-wedding brunch. Or use the cafe for your cocktail hour while we transition the Main Hall from ceremony set-up to reception-ready. With three floors and four unique spaces, we can customize a rental package for any event.
UTEC offers the perfect mix of historic and modern, all under one (solar-paneled) roof. The original church was built in 1839, with a major renovation and addition in 2012 earning it the title of "World's Oldest Green Building." Anyone who appreciates architecture, sustainable design, historical details, and innovative spaces will be wowed by this unique venue.
